Speaker A:Hey there everyone.
Speaker A:Glenn Blakeney here.
Speaker A:And thank you again for joining me on the Kingdom Reformation podcast, formerly known as the Power of Five.
Speaker A:Well, today I have a topic I believe that will be very relevant to you.
Speaker A:I spoke a message recently about what I call listening leadership.
Speaker A:Listening leadership.
Speaker A:Accessing divine wisdom and walking in God's supernatural power.
Speaker A:Basically, this is all about tapping into the limitless resources of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Speaker A:What if you could live from a place of no lack of knowledge or wisdom?
Speaker A:I mean, imagine having everything you needed to become effective and powerful in life right at your fingertips.
Speaker A:Now I'm not referring to artificial intelligence or the latest technological breakthrough.
Speaker A:I'm talking about something far more profound.
Speaker A:Accessing the true spiritual intelligence that comes from the one who knows all things, God Almighty.
Speaker A:Now let's take that a step further.
Speaker A:Picture yourself walking in a garden in the cool of the day and suddenly you hear it.
Speaker A:Yes, the actual voice of this all knowing God.
Speaker A:Not just metaphorically, not philosophically, but literally hearing his voice, just as Adam and Eve did.
Speaker A:Yes, in Genesis, chapter three, verse eight.
Speaker A:Can you imagine leading your church, your ministry, your family, your business, your organization, your team with this level of divine clarity and direction?
Speaker A:Think about it for a moment.
Speaker A:The creator of the universe, El Shaddai, Elohim Adonai, the one who established every law of physics, who designed every intricate detail of human DNA.
Speaker A:Who knows the end from the beginning.
Speaker A:This all knowing God, this creator desires to share his infinite wisdom with you.
Speaker A:And not through algorithms or databases, but through direct personal communion with His Spirit.
Speaker A:The same God who walked with Adam and Eve in the garden wants to walk with you, sharing his perfect wisdom and his unlimited knowledge for every situation that you face.
Speaker A:Well, today we're going to explore how to tap into this divine intelligence.
Speaker A:How to access the mind of Christ and lead from a place of supernatural understanding and knowledge.
Speaker A:And this isn't about religious intuition or spiritual hunches.
Speaker A:This isn't about developing some kind of spiritual spidey sense.
Speaker A:No, this is about learning to participate in the omniscience of God himself.
Speaker A:Now fast forward to Solomon in the book of First Kings, chapter three, verses five through nine.
Speaker A:God appears to him at Gibeon.
Speaker A:And we see a glimpse of this original design being restored.
Speaker A:God gives Solomon what appears to be an unlimited offer.
Speaker A:Ask, what shall I give you?
Speaker A:Whatever you want.
Speaker A:It's your Solomon.
Speaker A:And Solomon's response reveals something profound about spiritual leadership.
Speaker A:He said, therefore give to your servant an understanding heart to judge your people.
Speaker A:But here's where it gets really fascinating.
Speaker A:See, the Hebrew text uses the phrase lev shamea, which literally means a hearing heart.
Speaker A:Solomon wasn't asking for mere intellectual capacity or human wisdom.
Speaker A:He wasn't asking for better decision making skills or improved analytical skills.
Speaker A:He was asking God for the restoration of humanity's original capacity, the ability to hear and perceive in the spirit realm.
Speaker A:This request was so pleasing to God that he gave Solomon not just what he asked for, but also everything he didn't ask for.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because Solomon understood the key to everything else was the capacity for divine communion and supernatural understanding.
Speaker A:But what exactly is this divine intelligence we're talking about?
Speaker A:Well, the apostle Paul gives us a stunning glimpse into it.
Speaker A:In First Corinthians, chapter 2, verses 9 and 10.
Speaker A:He says, this eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
Speaker A:A lot of people stop right there.
Speaker A:But the verse continues and says this, but God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.
Speaker A:You see, this isn't just about getting good advice or making better decisions.
Speaker A:This is all about tapping into a realm of knowledge and understanding that transcends human capacity.
Speaker A:The Spirit searches all things.
Speaker A:The Bible says, yes, the deep things of God.
Speaker A:In the book of Romans, Think about the phrase all things.
Speaker A:There's no problem too complex, no situation too difficult, no challenge too great that it lies outside the scope of God's intelligence.
Speaker A:See, when you're operating in the Spirit's intelligence, you're not just accessing information, you're tapping, tapping into revelation.
Speaker A:You're not just getting answers, you're receiving understanding.
Speaker A:You're not just learning what to do, you're understanding why you are to do it.
Speaker A:See, no one demonstrated this access to God's divine intelligence more perfectly than Christ Jesus himself.
Speaker A:In John, chapter 5, verses 19 and 20, he makes an astounding statement.
Speaker A:Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of himself.
Speaker A:But what he sees the Father do.
Speaker A:For whatever he does, the Son also does in like manner.
Speaker A:For the Father loves the Son and shows him all things that He Himself is doing.
Speaker A:Now, notice the language here shows him all things.
Speaker A:This wasn't just occasional guidance.
Speaker A:This wasn't sporadic inspiration.
Speaker A:This was constant, unrestricted access to the Father's perfect knowledge and wisdom.
Speaker A:Jesus operated with a level of precision that astounded everyone around him.
Speaker A:He knew exactly where to be, what to say, how to respond, when to act, and even when to wait.
Speaker A:It's a powerful thing.
Speaker A: Jesus even said in John: Speaker A:Jesus was modeling the kind of relationship with the Father that he died to make available to all of us.
Speaker A:Now this brings us to another revolutionary truth about our identity in Christ.
Speaker A:When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about being born again in John 3, verse 3, he used the Greek word anothon, which means born from above or born from another realm.
Speaker A:So this wasn't just about a conversion experience or some type of religious confirmation to teachings or creeds or a particular denominational affiliation, but this was actually all about accessing an entirely different dimension of existence.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:You see, First John 3:9 tells us that God's nature, his very seed, abides in believers.
Speaker A:The Greek word used here is sperma, and it speaks of the actual genetic material of God himself being implanted in our spirits.
Speaker A:You see, this divine DNA carries with it the capacity for divine perception and supernatural understanding.
Speaker A:Second Peter, chapter one, verse four, takes this even further, declaring that we become partakers of the divine nature.
Speaker A:Now, the Greek word here, partaker, literally means a partnership, participation, and intimate communion.
Speaker A:We're not just observers of divine nature, we're participants in it.
Speaker A:That's why Paul could pray with such confidence in Ephesians 1:17, 18, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened.
Speaker A:Now, interestingly, the word understanding there in Greek literally refers to our hearts, that we would have spiritual perception at the center and the core of our being.
Speaker A:This spiritual perception isn't limited to just hearing God.
Speaker A:It encompasses all spiritual senses.
Speaker A: onsider Elijah in First Kings: Speaker A:He heard the sound of abundant rain before there was any natural evidence.
Speaker A:This wasn't wishful thinking or positive confession.
Speaker A:He was accessing divine intelligence.
Speaker A:He heard in heaven what was about to manifest on the earth.
Speaker A:You see, the prophet Isaiah gives us insight into how we can develop this capacity to hear God so Clearly.
Speaker A:In Isaiah 50, verses 4 and 5, we read, the Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned.
Speaker A:He awakens my ear to hear as the learned.
Speaker A:The Hebrew word for learned literally implies one who's trained through practice and discipleship, through going over something again and again until you become familiar.
Speaker A:It's all about knowing someone, being exposed to someone, developing a relationship with them to the point that you understand who they are and, and you even recognize their voice without even Seeing them.
Speaker A:See, this tells us that hearing God is both a gift and a skill, something that can be developed through consistent practice and intimate relationship.
Speaker A:And the key to developing this capacity lies in our relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A: ou see, in Second Corinthians: Speaker A:The Greek word koinonia here is the same root word used to describe our participation in divine nature.
Speaker A:The message translation, which is more of a paraphrase, actually renders it as the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:That's so beautiful.
Speaker A:See, this communion isn't just about occasional encounters or sporadic experiences.
Speaker A:It's about developing an ongoing partnership with the Spirit of God.
Speaker A:He's described in John 16, verse 13 by Jesus as the Spirit of truth, who will guide you into all truth and who will tell you all things to come.
Speaker A:This is direct access to divine intelligence, the ability to know things that cannot be discerned or acquired through natural means.
Speaker A:You see, this access to divine intelligence has practical implications for how we operate in the authority that is ours.
Speaker A:Believers in Jesus Christ.
Speaker A: eys of the kingdom in Matthew: Speaker A:The Amplified Bible expresses it this.
Speaker A:Whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven.
Speaker A:And whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.
Speaker A:This is amazing.
Speaker A:It's mind bending.
Speaker A:We're not meant to be just making decisions based on our best guess or human wisdom.
Speaker A:We're meant to be discerning what's already been determined in heaven and declaring that reality on earth.
Speaker A:And so Hebrews 11:1 says that this is the evidence of things not seen.
Speaker A:The Amplified expands saying, faith perceives as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.
Speaker A:So how do we develop this capacity?
Speaker A:Well, it starts with understanding that when we're born again, we were restored to humanity's original operating system.
Speaker A:The nature of God is in us.
Speaker A:The capacity for divine perception is in our spiritual DNA.
Speaker A:What we need to do now is learn to access and operate in this reality.
Speaker A:Remember Moses?
Speaker A:He endured as seeing him who is invisible.
Speaker A: Hebrews: Speaker A:The same God who revealed himself to Moses wants to reveal himself to you.
Speaker A:The same spirit who showed Paul things he couldn't learn from men, wants to show you things that you could never figure out on your own.
Speaker A:This divine capacity isn't just for a select few.
Speaker A:The promise of Acts 2:17, 18 is clear and it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of my spirit on all flesh.
Speaker A:Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy.
Speaker A:Your young men shall see visions.
Speaker A:Your old men shall dream dreams.
Speaker A:Now notice the comprehensive nature of the promise.
Speaker A:All flesh.
Speaker A:This includes you.
Speaker A:But how do we develop this sensitivity?
Speaker A:Think about what happened in the Garden of Eden.
Speaker A:God came in the cool of the day.
Speaker A:There was a specific time, a specific atmosphere where communion happened.
Speaker A:Similarly, we need to create space in our lives for divine encounter.
Speaker A:This isn't about religious routine.
Speaker A:It's about cultivating an atmosphere where spiritual perception can flourish.
Speaker A:Just as Jesus would often withdraw to lonely places to pray, we need to assume establish rhythms of communion.
Speaker A:This isn't about quantity of time so much as it's about quality of connection.
Speaker A:And it's about consistency and going to a place where we recognize and respond to the subtle movements of the spirit.
Speaker A:You see, Second Corinthians 5, 7 tells us we walk by faith, not by sight.
Speaker A:This isn't suggesting we ignore physical reality.
Speaker A:Rather, it's calling us to operate simultaneously in two realms, the natural and the supernatural.
Speaker A:Like Jesus, who could see both the physical needs in front of him and the Father's solution in the heavens, we're called to live with this dual awareness.
Speaker A:This is what Paul meant when he prayed that we would have the eyes of our heart, our understanding enlightened.
Speaker A:It's a powerful truth.
Speaker A:See, the key to maintaining this is this ongoing communion with the Spirit of God.
Speaker A:And how does this work, for example, in everyday life or even in leadership?
Speaker A:Well, let me give you some practical examples.
Speaker A:In decision making, instead of just analyzing what's in front of you and weighing the options, we learn to pause and we pray and we say, father, what are you doing in this situation right now?
Speaker A:Just as Jesus only did what he saw the Father doing, we learn to align our actions with heaven's agenda.
Speaker A:In problem solving, rather than relying solely on human wisdom, we access God's supernatural intelligence through communion with the Spirit.
Speaker A:And we have a hearing heart, just like Solomon.
Speaker A:That same capacity is available to you in strategic planning.
Speaker A:Instead of just projecting trends and calculating risks, we learn to perceive heaven's blueprint.
Speaker A:Like Moses, who built everything according to the pattern shown on the mountain, you learn to build according to divine design.
Speaker A:Exodus 25:8 9.
Speaker A:In team leadership, rather than just managing people and processes, you learn to discern and release God's purpose for each person.
Speaker A:Like Paul, who could see the spiritual potential in others, you learned to lead from professionals, prophetic Insight.
Speaker A:See, developing this capacity is a journey.
Speaker A:Isaiah 50, verse 4 speaks of the tongue of the learned.
Speaker A:As I said, this is about someone who's trained through listening, through practice, through repetition, through doing something over and over again to the point that they exercise their spiritual senses and become acutely discerning to hear God's voice and to learn his ways more intimately.
Speaker A:It may start with small impressions.
Speaker A:Just act on what you hear.
Speaker A:Learn from both your successes and your failures.
Speaker A:Remember, even Samuel had to learn to recognize God's voice.
Speaker A:The key is staying humble, remaining teachable, and maintaining a hungry heart for more of God's presence.
Speaker A:So can you imagine living leading from a place where no wisdom is lacking?
Speaker A:Where divine intelligence informs every decision, where supernatural understanding guides every step?
Speaker A:This isn't just a fantasy.
Speaker A:It's your inheritance in Christ.
Speaker A:You've been given what Solomon asked for, a hearing heart.
Speaker A:You have been restored to humanity's original design, walking and talking with God in the cool of the day.
Speaker A:You have been given the mind of Christ, access to divine wisdom and the capacity for supernatural understanding.
Speaker A:And so today I want to challenge you to step into this reality.
Speaker A:Don't settle for leading from human wisdom alone when divine intelligence is available.
Speaker A:Don't rely solely on natural understanding when supernatural perception is your inheritance.
Speaker A:The same God who walked with Adam in the garden wants to walk with you.
Speaker A:The same spirit who gave Solomon wisdom wants to guide you.
Speaker A:The same divine intelligence, the same spirit of wisdom and revelation that directed Jesus every step wants to direct yours.
Speaker A:Would you commit to developing this capacity?
Speaker A:Will you create space in your life for more encounters with God?
Speaker A:Will you learn to lead not just from what you know from the natural, but from what you hear and see in the spirit, the supernatural.
Speaker A:Remember, I just want to say this isn't about achieving some elite spiritual status.
Speaker A:It's about returning to humanity's original design, living in constant communion with God, accessing the Father's wisdom, walking in his understanding.
Speaker A:This is your inheritance.
Speaker A:This is your calling.
Speaker A:This is listening.
